Description: The owner of a special country estate first contacted us in 2014 and has been a loyal customer ever since. The wish to renew part of the stylish old building prompted him to get in touch. At the very first meeting our staff realised that all of Kieffer’s know-how would be needed for the tasks ahead. A building of this age, standing only on strip foundations, required the utmost care. A new floor slab was poured in the hallway, dining room, bathroom and guest WC, making the redesign possible. The new, uniform tiled floor gives the entrance and adjoining rooms a truly magnificent feel. The walk-in shower in the bathroom completes the ensemble in terms of freedom of movement. The drinking-water and waste-water installations in the bathroom and guest WC were fitted with the latest technology. The new radiators with a special paint finish in the hallway and dining room give the rooms a distinctly refined touch. In a second phase, new stylish radiators were also installed in the entrance and lounge of the adjoining banqueting hall.
Without doubt, however, the latest project in the house, the kitchen renovation, is a real highlight. Here the “four kitchen walls” were completely renovated. Knowing he had a reliable, expert general contractor at hand, the client turned to us once again and commissioned us to redesign the entire kitchen. This time it was the extractor hood that posed a real challenge. After a second site visit we found the perfect solution, and nothing stood in the way of this dream kitchen. The combination of real-wood kitchen units, a solid granite worktop and the La Cornue range cooker fits perfectly into the old building and is in harmony with the ensemble as a whole. Technically, too, the kitchen is fully convincing, with a professional oven painstakingly integrated completely and seamlessly into the furniture.
