Fitted kitchens
The kitchen is much more than just a room: it is where the family is fed, where childhood memories come back, where the best parties end. No wonder planning a kitchen is a far more emotional matter than planning any other room in the house.
Besides the emotional side, a kitchen must also be highly functional. Enough worktop space, enough storage, the right appliances, the right arrangement of preparation, cooking and washing-up areas … the requirements are many.
Our kitchen advice brings together emotion and functionality, keeping the important constraints of budget and available space in mind from the start. Our range extends from exclusive natural-stone or stainless-steel kitchens with a large cooking island to affordable yet attractive, high-quality kitchenettes for rented flats. We plan the right kitchen for every taste and every use. Our experienced fitters install the kitchen themselves and can respond to special requests or adjustments during installation.
Together with all the related trades – plumbing, heating and electrical work through to tiling and painting – we carry out kitchen projects on a turnkey basis with our own staff.
Built-in electrical appliances

Fridge, dishwasher, oven, extractor hood – what sounds simple turns out, on closer inspection, to offer an almost endless variety of functions. Different temperature zones in fridges and wine coolers, no-frost technology in freezers, many options and combinations for ovens, steam ovens and microwaves, and much more.
Did you know, for example, that some dishwashers have a hot-water instead of a cold-water connection and can therefore use water heated by your solar system? Or that there are highly efficient plasma filters for recirculating extractor hoods that clean the air far better than activated-carbon filters, at lower running costs?
We carry all the well-known manufacturers of built-in appliances and advise our customers in detail on functionality, in order to find the best solution for their needs within the available budget.
Wood-fired ovens

Home-made pizza from a wood-fired oven – guests and children will love it. Making your own wood-fired pizza is an experience for all the senses: visually through the fire lit in the oven, acoustically through the crackling of the burning wood, by touch when kneading the dough, by smell through the wood smoke and later the scent of baking dough and warming ingredients. And finally the result – a sure success for the taste buds.
Besides pizza, a wood-fired oven can of course be used for many other dishes, from bread and roasts to bakes. A wood-fired oven enhances your kitchen or terrace in every respect. We will be happy to advise you and work out which solution suits your situation best and how it can be implemented technically.
Professional kitchen utensils

Only the right, first-class tools make a kitchen complete. Sharp knives, perfectly matched pans, useful little helpers – in our showroom we sell a selection of hand-picked kitchen utensils that make cooking even better and more enjoyable. A beautiful, perfectly sharpened knife or a pan that heats perfectly evenly will give you pleasure every single day.
Mauviel 1830, Güde, Rösle, Tojiro and Boos Blocks, to name just a few of the brands we carry, are each among the market leaders for professional kitchen utensils and are often found in the kitchens of top restaurants.
Whether you want to re-equip part of your kitchen, are looking for a matching piece to complete your utensils or need to replace a broken item, ask our advisers for a high-quality solution that you will enjoy for a long time.

Gas heating
Gas condensing technology has for years been one of the best-proven and most economical ways of generating heat. It is low in emissions, easy to maintain and energy-efficient. Under the new energy-saving regulations, gas condensing technology is used above all in combination with innovative heating technologies such as heat pumps and solar systems, which it complements perfectly. Whether in a renovation or a new build, we organise the installation of your gas system from the mains connection to final acceptance.
Oil heating
Since the introduction of oil condensing technology, the “good old” oil heating system can also score with better economy and energy efficiency. Efficiencies of up to 107% (based on the net calorific value) are possible. Oil condensing technology makes sense above all in areas without a natural gas network. Thanks to our decades of experience with this technology, we can advise you comprehensively on everything from the tank to the boiler and the flue, and install your system in line with the standards.
Pellet heating
Pellet heating, an innovative form of wood heating, continues to gain ground. Pellet heating is particularly interesting as an ecological alternative to oil heating. Because they are so widespread, pellet systems are technically mature, run fully automatically and rarely need cleaning: in winter the ash needs emptying about once a month, in summer only every three to four months. We will be happy to advise you on pellet technology and on the type of pellet store, and calculate the capacity you need.
Solar thermal
With a solar thermal system, the sun’s energy can be used directly to heat drinking water and/or to support the heating. Once installed, a solar system can provide free heat for many years, covering up to 50% of a family’s hot-water needs and up to 20% of its heating energy needs. We help with the design of the system, calculate the optimal number of collectors and the storage volume needed before work starts, and advise on the choice of collector system.
Geothermal energy
Geothermal energy extracts heat from the ground through one or more deep boreholes; a heat pump then makes it usable for heating the building. Geothermal systems work best at low flow temperatures, such as those used for underfloor heating. The heat pump can then reach a seasonal performance factor of over 4, meaning that one unit of electricity produces 4 units of heat. A big gain in comfort is that the ground can also be used for cooling in summer. This even increases the overall efficiency of the system, as the heat taken from the building into the ground is partly available again in winter. Together with our specialist drilling partners, we take care of the permit, the design and the construction of your energy-efficient and economical geothermal system.
Log boilers
If you have firewood or wood waste such as pallets in significant quantities, a log boiler may be the right choice for your heating system. Modern log boilers burn efficiently, need little maintenance, are ecological and of course economical if you use your own wood. For maximum comfort there are also combined log and pellet boilers that unite the advantages of both technologies. As long as you keep loading your own wood, the boiler works as a pure log boiler using the cheap fuel. If you have no time to reload or are away, the pellet burner takes over automatically until you add wood again. Pellets can either be filled cheaply by hand into a simple storage tank or conveyed fully automatically to the boiler, as in a classic pellet system. This gives you perfect comfort: you use your firewood without having to reload all the time. We have decades of experience in building wood heating systems, can advise you in detail and build your wood heating exactly to your needs.
Air-to-water heat pumps
An air-to-water heat pump extracts energy from the outside air and uses heat pump technology to raise it to a higher temperature that can be used for heating the building. The principle is the same as in a fridge, except that the heat pump uses the heat and the fridge the cold. The great advantage of an air-to-water heat pump is that it runs on electricity alone: apart from the electricity supply, no other mains connection (such as gas) and no storage tanks (as for oil or pellets) are needed. Nor is a chimney required, as this technology produces no emissions where it is installed. Our skilled staff can look after your heat pump system from planning through to maintenance.
Ice storage system
The ice storage system is a genuine innovation on the heat pump market. It combines solar-air absorbers with an underground ice store and a heat pump. The system makes use of the phase change from water to ice: the water in the ice store is cooled to 0 degrees, and then ice crystals begin to form. During the change from liquid to solid the temperature stays constant at 0 degrees, and many times more energy is released than when water is simply cooled. During the day the solar-air absorber melts the ice crystals again, so that the system “regenerates”. In practice, the content of the ice store never falls below 0 degrees. We have already installed and connected two ice storage systems in Luxembourg, making us one of the few companies with hands-on experience of this new and promising technology.
Flue systems
To work properly, a gas, oil or wood heating system always needs a suitable flue system built to the standards. Condensation must be kept to a minimum, and unavoidable condensate must be drained correctly. The flue must keep the required distances from surrounding building parts and meet fire-safety regulations. Depending on the flue gas temperature, the route and the space available, we design the right flue system for your installation and fit it professionally.
Room heating systems
Together with the way heat is generated, the room heating system is decisive for the efficiency of the whole heating system. Underfloor heating and radiators each have their specific advantages and disadvantages. In some cases less conventional options such as wall or ceiling heating can be used. Whatever the preferred system, correct design is always the key to success. For example, adding a radiator to the underfloor heating in one room can allow the flow temperature to be lowered throughout the house. These factors must be considered when planning a new heating system, as they cannot be changed after installation. We place great value on the technical expertise of our project managers and plan heating systems to the latest state of the art, taking each customer’s specific wishes into account.
Industrial and hall heating
Heating large halls is a particular challenge in heating technology, especially when the hall is not only used for storage but also as a workplace or for leisure activities. The usually large areas must be heated economically, and the ceiling heights often make heat distribution difficult.
Where economy is the priority, gas-fired radiant tube heaters or air heaters can be used, depending on the available energy source. Where greater comfort is required, radiant ceiling panels are more common. In larger halls, mixed solutions are also possible – for example a kind of microclimate at workstations created by local, targeted additional heating, while the storage and/or production area of the hall is heated by simple, low-cost systems. Every hall is built differently and has its own requirements, so the heating system must also be planned and designed individually.
Together with our industrial partners we select the best solution from the available technologies and install it, paying particular attention to the customer’s requirements, such as operating and production times or safety requirements.

Sanitary installation
Hidden in the screed and behind drywall, the plumbing may not be visible, but its effects are all the more noticeable – for example when the drain does not run away, the water pressure is too high or too low, hot water seems to take for ever to arrive, or traps are sucked empty and cause bad smells. Many potential hazards and problems lurk in this area too. Being able to lay pipes does not necessarily mean mastering the plumbing trade. All the more important for customers to know that their project is in the hands of trained site staff and expert, knowledgeable project management.
Water treatment
Luxembourg has traditionally had many areas with very high, sometimes fluctuating, limescale levels in the drinking water. Whether in new or existing buildings, water treatment is then needed to protect the pipes. In a new build, a simple single-tank softener may be enough, while in renovations it is often advisable to install a dosing unit as well. Dosing units use a dosing pump to add a mineral solution to the drinking water that keeps the lime in suspension so that it cannot settle. After a few years of use, the unit also dissolves existing lime deposits, so the pipes become clearer and the water pressure and flow rate improve again. We install water treatment products from Grünbeck, one of the market leaders in this field. Besides installing the units, our service fitters are trained to carry out the necessary maintenance on Grünbeck equipment, so that drinking-water hygiene is impeccable at all times.
Rainwater harvesting
Protecting the environment matters to many builders. A rainwater harvesting system is an easy way to contribute. Instead of letting rainwater run unused into the sewer, it is stored in a cistern, from which a pump draws it for uses such as watering the garden, washing the car or flushing the toilet. The customer saves on water costs, and the environment is spared the cost of transporting and treating the water at the sewage plant, into which rainwater is usually discharged just like waste water. To guarantee smooth operation, we lay the pipe from the cistern to the cellar during the shell construction phase together with the builder, so there can be no discussion later. We only install fully automatic systems that do not fail when the cistern is empty but switch automatically to normal mains water. Nothing then stands in the way of trouble-free use of the natural, low-cost resource “rainwater”.
Automatic irrigation systems
Whether a large lawn, a vegetable garden or a rose bed: plants need enough water to grow well. If your green spaces are to look good all year and survive dry spells unharmed, an automatic irrigation system may be the solution. Connected to the normal water supply or a rainwater cistern, various devices such as rotating and fixed sprinklers or drip irrigation through permeable hoses can water the plants automatically. The owner no longer needs the watering can or mobile lawn sprinklers. Besides the conventional timer, new controllers allow advanced regulation, for example via a soil moisture sensor or a rain sensor. For irrigation systems we work with Toro, one of the major manufacturers. We design irrigation systems to suit local conditions such as water pressure and flow – after all, the shower still needs water when the irrigation switches on. After planning, we carry out the installation and, at commissioning, programme the system together with the customer and/or the landscape gardener so that the plants’ water needs are optimally met.

Controlled residential ventilation
Because of energy-saving laws, which have been tightened considerably in recent years, our buildings are becoming ever more airtight. The natural air exchange that used to take place through leaks in the building, joints and poorly sealed windows no longer exists. In addition, the use of chemicals in building products, interior fittings and furniture has increased significantly.
Without natural air exchange, emissions from these chemicals, as well as odours caused by people or activities (such as cooking), build up in the rooms. This leads to “stuffy” air and can considerably reduce general well-being. Moisture also builds up and can cause condensation on cold surfaces and, as a result, mould. Even though opening the windows – which, contrary to popular belief, should also be done in passive houses – remains the most effective way to ventilate, the rooms lack continuous ventilation to remove the pollutants, odours and moisture described above.
In airtight houses, this continuous ventilation can only be achieved with controlled residential ventilation. The unit blows fresh air through ducts into the living and sleeping areas and extracts stale air from bathrooms, toilets and kitchens. The fresh air is pre-warmed without additional energy by a heat exchanger that takes the heat from the extracted air. This always guarantees a hygienic minimum air exchange with tempered air. Even on cold winter nights you have tempered fresh air in your bedroom – with the window closed.
We design your ventilation system in accordance with DIN 1946-6 and use only hygienically certified products from the leading manufacturers. We are also happy to advise you on the required air change rates, ventilation habits, humidity control and other ventilation topics, clearing up some of the misinformation that has been circulating in recent years. During installation we make sure the ducts are laid for easy maintenance and the air flow is adapted to your needs, so that your ventilation system becomes a complete success.
Air handling systems
Air handling units are a central part of the building services in almost every type of building. Whether office buildings, production sites, hotels or sports halls, air handling systems of all kinds and sizes are always needed. They primarily supply rooms with fresh air but, depending on the concept, can also heat, cool and control humidity. When planning and building them, correctly sizing the air volume and the air treatment functions is essential: as little as possible, as much as necessary should be the motto, because transporting and treating air is expensive. We discuss the statutory minimum requirements with the customer in detail and transparently and add our own experience to create a lean and cost-efficient ventilation concept. The controls also need particular attention, as they largely determine the system’s energy consumption. For air handling questions we therefore offer our customers the most precise possible needs analysis and a tailored technical solution, to find the best balance between investment costs, quality requirements and operating and maintenance costs.
Air conditioning
When the famous “dog days” of summer arrive, there is nothing you want more than a slightly cooled bedroom where you can breathe again and sleep peacefully after the heat of the day. On humid, warm summer nights an air-conditioning unit can be worth its weight in gold. However, people are very sensitive when it comes to cooling. Temperature reduction, noise level and air movement are all parameters that must be taken into account and, above all, agreed individually with each customer.
Then there is the integration of the system into the rooms and the placement of the outdoor unit. The condensate that can form in the indoor units when cooling must also be drained safely. Together, these comfort and installation factors can make for a complex question that must be solved professionally. Once the location of the units and the pipe routes have been discussed in detail with our advisers, one of the certified installers in our team can carry out the installation professionally.
Cooling ceilings
Particularly comfortable cooling can be achieved with cooling ceilings. Thin pipes are laid closely spaced on the ceiling and then embedded in the gypsum plaster. Cold water flows through the pipes and creates a pleasantly cool room climate – without any noise or draught. Alternatively, the pipes can be cast into the concrete, “activating” the concrete mass. The cool concrete then acts like a cold store and keeps the room pleasantly cool for a long time, as if the house were built of solid stone walls like in the old days.
Cooling ceilings are certainly the most comfortable of all ways to cool a room. Only their output is limited: depending on outdoor conditions, more or less cooling capacity is available indoors. This is why people often speak of “tempering”: the room temperature will always be a few degrees below the outdoor temperature but may not reach exactly the set value. Human comfort, however, responds more to temperature differences than to absolute temperatures – in very hot weather we feel 26 °C as cool, while in cool weather the same 26 °C feels warm. In this respect the cooling ceiling automatically adapts to our sense of comfort. Combined with geothermal energy or air-to-water heat pumps, cooling ceilings are particularly interesting, as the heat pump can produce the cooling and no second system is normally needed. A cooling ceiling must be precisely designed and planned and just as carefully installed so that it works reliably and every zone is supplied with cold water. If you are considering this highly comfortable technology, we will be happy to advise you and look forward to your project benefiting from our experience.

Domestic installation
Your electrical installation must be reliable, compliant with the standards and adapted to your personal needs. As a first step, we draw up a precise plan on paper or in CAD together with the customer, taking the furniture and flexibility for different uses into account. When work begins, the plan is marked out and confirmed again on site. This lets the customer visualise the position of sockets, light switches, electric roller shutters and blinds, room thermostats, speaker outlets and multimedia connections in the room before the work is carried out. After the first fix, the customer can choose from a wide range of switch series and finishes – plastic, glass, leather or even concrete. The colour and finish can of course be adapted to each room, for example stainless steel in the kitchen and white in the other rooms. Benefit from our excellent service in planning and execution and integrate the electrical installation seamlessly into your overall project. Our project managers will be happy to advise you.
Alarm systems
Unfortunately, the number of burglaries has kept rising in recent years, and for the victims, besides the material loss, it is usually also a psychological burden to know that a burglar has entered their home and taken their belongings. An alarm system is an effective deterrent and protective measure that considerably increases your security. Different monitoring zones for the building envelope and the interior, alerts by text message or call, even a connection to a security centre are possible. Our alarm system can also be extended with water or smoke detectors, becoming an integrated hazard alarm system. And thanks to modern wireless technology, alarm systems can be installed without major work on the building and easily retrofitted. So there is no longer any reason to do without this extra security. Talk to us about a security concept for your home!
Sun protection
An insulated house loses hardly any heat – ideal in winter, but an unwelcome side effect in summer. That is why in summer the heat is best kept outside in the first place. Nothing does this better than external venetian blinds or roller shutters: with external sun protection, 90% of the heat never enters the house. For the sun protection to work, it must of course actually be used. To make this convenient, a central control should be planned that shades the whole house or individual floors at the touch of a button. The control can be extended with sun, wind and rain sensors to protect against the weather or to close automatically above a certain level of sunlight. We adapt the sun-protection control to your needs from the start and install all the necessary components, so that your house does not overheat even in midsummer.
Telecommunications, aerial and multimedia
Today, telecommunications and aerial cabling no longer carry only the classic media of telephone and television. With the digitisation of networks and the spread of the internet, the networks in the house have become multifunctional and universal. What matters is that structured cabling with the latest generation of cables is installed in the house and available in the right places. On this basis you can use all media, whether telephone, television or internet. To complete the multimedia experience, we can also install speaker cabling or HDMI and other video cables, so that you can later place your devices where you want without cables getting in the way. With relatively small investments we can thus achieve our most important goal: to offer you a house tailored to your needs.
KNX building automation
Although today’s installation technology already offers many possibilities, truly advanced functionality and flexibility can only be achieved by installing a bus system. KNX has become the standard in residential building. A wide range of sensors and actuators lets you configure your installation exactly as you wish. All information comes together on a central server, where it can be linked. From automated roller shutters to multimedia control, you have every option to make your house intelligent. The intercom and alarm systems can be included too. You could even detect whether the flap of your letterbox is opened while you are on holiday and automatically ask your neighbour to collect your post. With a bus system there are no limits to your imagination when it comes to automating systems and devices in your home. So as not to lose track of all the possibilities, good planning is essential. We therefore advise our customers in detail on the functions that may interest them and draw up a control concept. On site, the installation is labelled and documented in detail, so that it remains clear even after changes or reprogramming and home automation stays a pleasure.
Lighting
Only with the right lighting do your rooms and furnishings really come into their own. It is no coincidence that expressions such as “to show something in the right light” are so deeply rooted in our language. Lighting is a central component of architecture and gives a room its finishing touch. We carry all the major lamp manufacturers and advise our customers both on technical criteria such as brightness, light colour, uniformity and energy consumption and on aesthetic criteria such as the shape and position of the lamp. More extensive advice for a complete lighting concept, including lighting simulation if required, is provided together with our specialist partner Broy Lichttechnik in Trier. This allows us to cover every area of lighting technology, from private homes to industrial halls.

Tiling
Through bathroom renovations and complete renovations we have more than 20 years of experience with all kinds of tiling. Since 2016 we have had a master tiler in our team and are now also a registered master craftsman’s business in the tiling trade. We place the greatest importance on precise, professional work – not only in laying the tiles but also in all associated work such as preparing the substrate and waterproofing. For example, we always apply a reinforcing layer under wall tiles so that no hairline cracks appear in the joints, and we bond the shower waterproofing professionally according to the manufacturer’s instructions right up to the drain. We also mainly use porcelain stoneware tiles, which, compared with earthenware and stoneware tiles, have a particularly high density thanks to the very fine grinding of the raw materials and therefore meet the highest quality standards (maximum durability, minimum water absorption). You get the greatest benefit for your project by combining our tiling services with plumbing, kitchen and/or electrical work. You can then leave the coordination entirely to us as a specialist company and rely on the trades working hand in hand, so the usual interface problems never arise.
Natural stone work
Alongside ceramic tiles, natural stone is becoming increasingly popular again. Stone impresses with its absolute authenticity. The material alone creates a particularly genuine aesthetic and radiates great purity and clarity. Like all materials that need little processing and therefore stay close to nature, natural stone is timeless and valuable. Used skilfully in a design, it becomes a real highlight. The right, professional laying technique ensures the longevity, lasting beauty and value of a natural stone floor. From the adhesive to the sealing, we insist on the highest quality throughout. We lay natural stone from all Luxembourg stonemasons as well as the special stones of our Italian supplier Salvatori, whose innovative surface treatments give the stones a very special character.
Balconies and terraces
Outdoors, tiles and slabs are particularly stressed by moisture and temperature changes. To ensure the greatest possible durability despite these loads, the substrate preparation in particular must be carefully chosen and carried out, as well as the covering itself. Waterproofing, decoupling, drainage – all these functions must be fulfilled so that the covering is protected from the weather as far as possible. In renovations and new builds alike, we offer professional planning and laying of the covering of your choice, paying attention to details such as edges and steps.
Mortex
Mortex is a waterproof, lime-based mineral plaster mixed with coloured pigments; a special trowelling technique produces more or less colour texture. In wet rooms, Mortex can be applied completely seamlessly over all walls and/or the floor, giving the room a modern, calm and uniform atmosphere. As there are no joints, optimal cleanliness and hygiene are guaranteed, because no dirt can collect in them. Thanks to the special trowelling technique, every Mortex finish also bears a little of the craftsman’s signature. Our staff were trained by the manufacturer BEAL in applying Mortex and have many square metres of experience, so we can guarantee professional and aesthetically flawless Mortex finishes.

Painting and wallpapering
Almost every renovation involves painting and/or wallpapering in some form – after the conversion or renovation, everything should shine like new! Our expert staff take up your ideas and advise you on the technical properties of paints as well as on the look, effect and possible combinations of different colours and wallpapers. This creates a colour scheme to your wishes. We are also happy to prepare a sample on the wall before larger areas are painted, so the exact shade can be chosen in the real lighting conditions. Our staff also pay attention to details such as edge protection in heavily used areas like hallways and, on request, make concrete suggestions on various painting questions.
Decorative plaster techniques
Decorative plaster techniques give your walls a whole new dimension. Whether classic Stucco Veneziano, modern concrete, slate or Corten-steel effects, a light glitter effect or neutral, matt or gloss – the possibilities of modern plaster techniques are almost unlimited. You can create surface textures that cannot be produced any other way. Making a fair-faced concrete wall in a renovation project, for example, is almost impossible or extremely costly. With the Betonato technique, you can achieve the effect of a concrete surface in a renovation without much effort. Some techniques can even be used on floors. We mainly offer the techniques of the Italian manufacturer OIKOS in cooperation with Decorwerk in Trier and have trained applicators for them in our team.
Organic paints
Paint manufacturers are increasingly following the trend towards organic paints, which relieve the environment by using renewable raw materials and, above all, create a healthier indoor climate and so benefit human health. From the organic paints of the big manufacturers to pure natural paints from small specialist producers, we can offer and apply every product. For example, natural resin paints can replace synthetic resin paints, and natural pigments can be used. This way you can be sure you will not be breathing harmful emissions in your home for years. We are also happy to take up customers’ ideas and discuss, based on our experience, products the customer has chosen.

Parquet
Warm, homely, cosy, high-quality, durable – these are the adjectives that spontaneously come to mind with wooden floors. Alongside natural stone, wood is probably the most original of all floor coverings. Parquet creates a good indoor climate and evokes positive associations – visually, to the touch, sometimes even acoustically. Different formats, wood species and surface treatments such as brushing, smoking and oiling allow different styles and quality expectations to be realised. When laying, the choice is whether the parquet is floated, glued or, as in the old days, screwed completely pollutant-free onto battens. Today underfloor heating often has to be taken into account too; it brings certain restrictions but is not a fundamental problem for parquet. With the right treatment, parquet can even be used in bathrooms. Thanks to our holistic approach we can advise you on combinations of materials and colours and help you refine your project concept. Our qualified staff make transitions between materials as seamless as possible to create a visually harmonious result.
Alternative floor coverings
Laminate, vinyl, cork, carpet or even leather: there are many floor coverings with very different properties that can be used to advantage depending on the project. In our consultation we discuss your requirements regarding the material and its effect in the room, care, longevity, resistance, the substrate needed, budget and other criteria. Thanks to the variety of materials available to us, we are not tied to selling a specific product. For our customers this means objective, product-neutral advice and the best possible fulfilment of each project’s requirements.
Doors
Doors are a very important element of a building, both aesthetically and functionally. In terms of design, there has been an unprecedented variety of models and finishes for some years: wooden doors in simple white, with real-wood veneer, in a concrete look or with a coating of your choice; glass doors lacquered or even screen-printed to your design; with casing or block frames, rebated or flush; climate class 1, 2 or 3; with or without fire-protection requirements, and so on. The handle set also contributes significantly to the style and function of a door, so the combinations are almost endless. Good planning is therefore the key to success. In a personal consultation we discuss not only style and design but also the technically required and desirable properties, or, after you place your order, accompany you to a door showroom of your choice if you wish. Our qualified joiners then fit the doors professionally.
Built-in furniture
A house is only complete with the right furniture. This is especially true of built-in furniture, which blends seamlessly into the building and becomes an integral part of the space. A perfectly fitted piece of built-in furniture reveals careful planning and a well-thought-out concept of use. There are almost no limits to the imagination in the choice of materials and finishes: wood, glass or leather surfaces, open or closed shelving, sliding or hinged doors – everything is possible. Clever interior fittings and layouts tailor dressing rooms and wardrobes to your personal needs. With our suppliers Beeck and Schmalenbach we are ideally placed to plan and install built-in furniture in every price range. In your new-build or renovation project you do not need to coordinate another company for built-in furniture: we can integrate this work seamlessly into the schedule and carry it out without delay.
Small jobs
For us, small jobs are not an “unwelcome side issue”. We are happy to take care of your small repairs and alterations, such as replacing roller-shutter cords or slats, adapting or reinstalling kitchen worktops or appliances, oiling and/or sanding parquet, repairing furniture or making simple wooden cladding. Just report small jobs to our customer service. One of our qualified joiners will then look at the work promptly. If we can help, we will – with the same care as on a large project.

Pitched roof
A traditional timber pitched roof is the most economical way to build a roof and gain extra living space. With our own specialist staff as a registered master craftsman’s business, we take full care of your roof, whether new build, renovation, simply painting the roof or repairing the gutters.
Flat roof
Flat roofs are a hallmark of modern architecture and give houses modern, straight, rectangular shapes. Flat roofs can also be used very well as a terrace.

Structural work
To round off our expertise in complete renovation and turnkey construction, we can also carry out small and medium-sized structural work with our own staff. We build extensions, conversions and new builds in solid masonry. Depending on the size of the project and our workload, we also work with selected partners who have earned our full trust through many years of cooperation. Our way of working is characterised by a thorough knowledge of building law and an objective analysis of the possible technical solutions. We also always include building-physics questions in our considerations, because stability alone does not make a quality building – it is taken for granted. True quality lies in hidden properties such as protection against moisture, noise and heat, and usually only becomes noticeable when it is missing. Careful planning of the work prevents this. On site, besides technically flawless work, we place great importance on cleanliness and order, because only a tidy site is a well-functioning site. We are happy to discuss your wishes with you and develop a concept for the planned construction work.

Façades
As a building’s outer skin, the façade has many functions: it should provide good insulation, protect the masonry behind it, be durable and, not least, look good. In recent years the external thermal insulation composite system (also simply called an insulated façade) made of polystyrene, a reinforcing layer and render has become the standard solution, despite well-known problems such as algae growth, flammability and unresolved disposal issues. This type of system is certainly unbeatably cheap to buy, but it brings high and, above all, unknown follow-up costs. No one can predict what the professional removal and disposal of a polystyrene insulation system will cost in the future. Fortunately, more and more alternative insulation materials are available that are ecologically sound, such as composite systems with mineral wool, wood fibre, hemp or cork. Nor does a façade have to be built as a composite system: with a ventilated façade, for example, the insulation is completely separate from the cladding, divided by an air gap, so insulation and cladding can be changed or renovated independently. Alternatively, façades can be built with large insulating blocks of, for example, 49 cm and finished with a traditional cement render. A complete outer leaf of masonry with insulation between the two layers is also possible. As you can see, it does not have to be the conventional polystyrene system – there are many other options for those willing to look for alternatives. Thanks to our wide-ranging expertise we are not tied to any single product and can advise you neutrally and find, together with you, the façade system that suits you and your house.
Outdoor areas
What makes a beautiful house even more beautiful? Beautiful, well-kept surroundings! Successful outdoor areas combine function – such as retaining walls or surfaces that can be walked and driven on – with the aesthetics of suitable materials like fair-faced concrete, natural stone or wood. Building outdoor areas often calls for craftsmanship, for example when paving terraces or building a dry-stone wall. A custom-made barbecue and outdoor kitchen in special materials such as natural stone or fair-faced concrete can be a real highlight. We are happy to take up customers’ personal wishes and ideas for the design of their outdoor areas and work closely with landscape gardeners and other specialist companies to create a harmonious design that perfectly matches the customer’s wishes in look and function.

Customer and emergency service
Naturally, we offer customer service in all our trades. Customer service is particularly important in the technical areas of heating, plumbing and electrics. When there is no more hot water in the shower, the heating or power has failed or a water pipe has burst, quick help is needed. That is why our emergency number can be reached 7 days a week from 8.00 to 22.00, and the service fitter on duty takes care of the problem. All other trades, such as chimney, tiling or painting work, are covered during normal office hours, and however small the repair, we take care of it with due diligence.
Maintenance contracts
Regular inspection and maintenance are essential for the longevity and trouble-free operation of technical systems. We are happy to support our customers with maintenance contracts, which bring several advantages: a few days before the maintenance is due, we call the customer to arrange an appointment, so that routine maintenance is not forgotten. We also store the data of the customer’s system in our specialised software, so we already have details to hand when repairs or maintenance are needed. This can save interrupting the work and/or a trip to the wholesaler during the job. In future, customers will also be able to connect their system to the new online portals of the major manufacturers Viessmann and Buderus and make it accessible to the installer, so we can see the system’s error messages before setting off and be even better prepared.
Water damage repair
Water damage is often particularly frustrating for homeowners. Not only does the damage make parts of the house uninhabitable, but the often slow progress of the repairs is especially hard to bear. Thanks to our range of skills, we can at least make life a little easier for our customers in the event of damage by carrying out the necessary individual measures hand in hand with our own staff. As a customer, you only need to report the damage to your insurer. We then submit a quote for the complete repair. You do not need to coordinate different companies and, apart from the drying times that are usually necessary, you lose no time between the visits of different firms, so the damage is repaired as quickly and simply as possible. If it happens, tell your insurance company that we are your partner of choice. Depending on the insurer, we invoice either the insurer directly or the customer, who is then reimbursed by the insurance company.

Turnkey construction for private investors
As a landowner, have you ever thought about building on your plot yourself, but lack the experience and above all the time to carry out such a project safely?
Energy performance certificates for residential buildings
Since 1 January 2010 an energy performance certificate has been mandatory for every transaction and must be attached to the notarial deed of sale. An energy performance certificate must also be submitted for the building permit. Through our partner company we are happy to prepare energy performance certificates for residential buildings. On request we also calculate variants and can optimise the energy-saving measures in terms of cost-benefit – for example, to indicate whether it makes more sense to invest in better building services or in more insulation. Beyond simply “meeting the legal requirements”, this gives your project a direct financial added value.
Planning and consulting services
Thanks to our experience and daily practice in the construction industry, we can also support you with advice and planning when needed – for example with a critical “second opinion” before a purchase decision, a building-services calculation, input to the design or help in drawing up specifications and building descriptions. In our core area of architect-designed houses, residential construction and small businesses, we are happy to support you in every respect!
