Description: As part of a roof renovation, the client wanted to use the large south-facing roof of the building to generate solar energy. It soon became clear that a combination of photovoltaics and solar thermal would make the best use of it. The rail substructure was installed according to the agreed layout plan. The solar modules were then lifted onto the roof with the company’s own truck crane and installed in a single afternoon. A few days later the connection to the public grid, including the inverter, was also complete and the system was ready for acceptance by the grid operator.
