Description: When they bought the house, the new owners already knew it would need a complete renovation. Thanks to our quick response and detailed advice, the family chose François Kieffer sàrl for all the technical trades, the interior finishing of the attic and the insulation of the basement. One challenge was installing controlled residential ventilation in an existing building. The ducts were run partly in the knee-wall area of the attic, partly along the basement ceiling and, on the living floors, behind false walls. Awarding the work as a complete package meant that building services and interior finishing could be perfectly coordinated, avoiding the usual long waits and coordination problems between trades. This was a great benefit to the occupants, who were already living in part of the house during the renovation.
