Description: As part of a complete renovation, François Kieffer sàrl renewed the entire ground-floor flooring and two bathrooms on the upper floor. The family lived in the house throughout the renovation, so the work had to be carefully scheduled and carried out according to the agreed timetable. Parts of the old kitchen were temporarily installed in the basement while the ground floor was being renovated. The ground floor was unusable for about 10 weeks during dismantling, laying the underfloor heating, pouring the new screed, drying and tiling. But the work was finished in time for Christmas, and the visiting family could be properly cooked for. In a second phase, both upper-floor bathrooms and the ground-floor guest WC were completely renovated. The polyhedral floor plan without right angles demanded the utmost precision in the tiling, but François Kieffer’s staff skilfully mastered this difficulty too, to the client’s satisfaction.
