Description: It was “word of mouth” that led to our first contact with this customer. A detached house near the city centre was to become the new home of a growing family. At the first meeting on site it quickly became clear that the chemistry between François Kieffer’s staff and the owners was right – no wonder, as the customer insisted on inviting us to lunch at the very first meeting! The expectations for the process and result of the renovation, as well as the available budget, were clearly stated, and nothing stood in the way of a first cost estimate. After another constructive discussion, the detailed planning got down to business. New tiles in the living/dining room, kitchen, entrance, stairwell and the hallways of every floor, as well as the redesign of the guest WC, the new family bathroom on the upper floor and the small attic bathroom, made up the lion’s share of the renovation. New white interior doors and a new glass door between the living room and kitchen complete the new interior.
The tight timeframe was one of the big challenges of the whole project: the family was to move into their new home before the collective summer holidays. We met this challenge thanks to the tightly coordinated schedule of the various trades, constant site supervision and, of course, the commitment of every single member of staff on site.
